Latin Art Show: Celebrating 15 Years of Artistry at Its Finest

Pazan Gallery proudly celebrated its 15th anniversary with a spectacular Latin Art Show during Latin Heritage Month, honouring our legacy as a pillar of creativity, culture, and community in Port Credit.

The opening night was filled with warmth, music, and colour as guests gathered to experience the captivating works of two distinguished Latin American artists — Marcelo Leonardo Pazán (Ecuador) and Melina Cossío (Mexico). Together, their art told stories of resilience, memory, and identity, bridging cultures and generations.

Presented in collaboration with the Hispanic Canadian Arts & Cultural Association, led by Director Carlos Bastidas, the evening stood as a testament to the beauty of cultural exchange through the visual arts.

🎸 The ambiance came alive with live Latin guitar music by Pablo Gutierrez, setting the perfect mood for the night of celebration.

🎂 The gallery also celebrated a very special birthday — Gloria Pazán, the heart and spirit behind Pazan Gallery — surrounded by love from the Pazán family: Leonardo, Berta, Katherine, and Rachael.

We extend heartfelt thanks to Justin, Ty, and Sapphire for their invaluable help in setting up the exhibition and ensuring every detail was perfect.

Our gratitude also goes to Councillor Stephen Dasko and MPP Rudy Cuzzetto for joining us and commemorating this milestone moment with the Port Credit arts community.

Fifteen years ago, Pazan Gallery began with a simple vision: to offer Artistry at Its Finest — expert framing, art restoration, and a welcoming space for artists and collectors to connect. Today, that vision continues to grow, driven by passion, community spirit, and a love of creativity.
